Our continuing education workshops provide a unique opportunity to develop more self-compassion in the face of your professional stressors, and to talk honestly with peers about your ethical challenges and growing edges. Each workshop is tailored to address the interests and experiences of participants.
All workshops include didactic material about psychotherapy and Buddhist psychology, sitting meditation, individual and group reflection, and exploration of meditative experience. Learning is experiential and done within small groups.
These workshops are appropriate for Mental Health Professionals who integrate mindfulness into their therapeutic orientation and those who do not—to those who are new to meditation as well as more experienced meditators.
Learn a process of meditation and reflection that enables you to make more conscious and ethical choices.
Because we set aside our needs while we work, we must listen to and attend to them more diligently at other times. Meditation provides the context to listen and attend deeply to your inner world, hopefully with the kindness you provide to your clients.
