Our continuing education workshops provide a unique opportunity to develop more self-compassion in the face of your professional stressors, and to talk honestly with peers about your ethical challenges and growing edges. Each workshop is tailored to address the interests and experiences of participants.
All workshops include didactic material about psychotherapy and Buddhist psychology, sitting meditation, individual and group reflection, and exploration of meditative experience. Learning is experiential and done within small groups.
These workshops are appropriate for Mental Health Professionals who integrate mindfulness into their therapeutic orientation and those who do not—to those who are new to meditation as well as more experienced meditators.
Learn a process of meditation and reflection that enables you to make more conscious and ethical choices.
Presence has been shown to be a potent indicator of success in therapy, yet most of us weren’t taught how to deliberately develop this capacity in our therapy practices.
Learn concepts from Buddhist psychology and Reflective Meditation that can help develop balance, and ethical integrity in the midst of holding the suffering of clients.
