The workshop provided a much more nuanced and personal approach to ethics than would be found in more traditional training on this topic. The discussion was rich and stimulating. Within my personal meditation practice, I integrated the theoretical into the experiential which provided insights about what my own personal ethics entail in my work with clients.
During these workshops, we like to cultivate a safe, connected space where everyone feels
comfortable exploring their experiences. To do this, we keep the size of the workshops to a
maximum of 14 people.
We have designed our programs to meet the criteria of Oregon licensing boards for continuing education. We are credentialed with NBCC, the National Board of Certified Counselors, who are approved by the Oregon Board of Social Workers and the Oregon Board of Licensed Counselors and Therapists. The Oregon Board of Psychology does not explicitly list credentialing bodies, approving continuing education that addresses substantive psychological issues that are taught by instructors qualified to teach the subject matter.
If you are licensed in another state or with a Board other than those listed above, please check
with your Board.
Unfortunately, we do not accept registration for CE workshops without payment at the time of
registration. Because space at CE workshops is limited, we like to give everyone a fair chance at
registering. And, because we are mostly powered by volunteer time and talent, we don’t have the abundance of resources we would need to keep track of all the changes that are made.
The registration software will put a “Hold” by your name if you register without paying, but you will not be registered. Being placed on Hold means you are on the workshop list and those who do pay at the time of registration will be added to the workshop before you. The only way you can be assured a place in the workshop is to pay at the time of registration through our website at https://pinestreetsangha.org/for-therapists/ce-workshops/
There is no way of knowing if a workshop will be filled or not. Sometimes they become full and
sometimes they do not. Pine Street Sangha keeps the website up to date and it will be noted on our website if the workshop is full.
Yes. If you want to attend a workshop you know is full, send an email to:
firstname.lastname@example.org requesting placement on the waiting list. If someone cancels, we will contact you to let you know there is an opening.
For cancellations two or more weeks prior to the workshop, you can be refunded the cost minus
a $20 administrative fee. For cancellations of less than two weeks, credit can be applied to a
future workshop. Credit will be good for one year. Credit for “no shows” is made at the
discretion of the administrator.
If a participant or potential participant would like to express a concern about their experience
with Pine Street Sangha, they can email Pam Crow at: email@example.com. Although we
do not guarantee a particular outcome, the individual can expect us to consider the complaint, make any necessary decisions, and respond within two weeks.
